Welcome to ReadMyVoice. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and services. By using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website.

1. Permissions for Promotion on Social Media

By submitting your book title, book jacket blurb, or short extracts of your writing to ReadMyVoice, you grant ReadMyVoice permission to share and promote this content on social media platforms and other promotional channels. This includes but is not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn. You agree that such promotions may include links to titles, Author names and or images, and other content related to your book.

ReadMyVoice will not share the entirety of an authors submission on any platform outside of the ReadMyVoice website.

2. Contact Between Agents, Publishers, and Authors

Any communication between agents, publishers, and authors is to be conducted directly between the parties involved. ReadMyVoice is not responsible for or involved in any interactions outside the structured review system.

3. Protection of Author’s Work

ReadMyVoice does not copy, share, print, or distribute any author’s work. All works are only accessible via our online platform for reviewers to read and review. No works will be reproduced or shared by ReadMyVoice without the author’s consent.

4. Writer’s Responsibility Regarding Third Parties

It is the writer’s responsibility to verify the authenticity of any agents, publishers, or third parties offering services through the ReadMyVoice website. ReadMyVoice is not responsible for any scams, misrepresentations, or fraudulent activities conducted by third parties. We encourage you to conduct due diligence before engaging with any external parties.

5. Membership Type Limitations

Each individual may only hold one membership type (Author, Reviewer, or Agent) at any given time. You may not hold multiple membership types concurrently.

6. Review Standards and Conduct

Reviews submitted through ReadMyVoice must adhere to respectful and professional standards. Abusive, offensive, or inappropriate language will not be tolerated, and members who violate this standard may have their account suspended or terminated. Additionally, literature containing out-of-context abusive or prejudiced themes will not be considered.

7. Review Removal and Membership Suspension

ReadMyVoice reserves the right to remove reviews or suspend or close any member’s account without prior notice. We are not required to provide a reason for such actions. Membership and use of the website are at the sole discretion of ReadMyVoice.

8. No Refund on Subscription

All subscriptions are non-refundable. Once payment for a monthly subscription has been processed, it is final, and no refunds will be issued for any reason.

9. Non-Payment and Account Suspension

If any payment related to a writer's account is withheld or becomes overdue, their work will be automatically removed from the platform, and their account will be suspended until payment is made. Any payment issues must be resolved promptly to retain access to the services.

10. Legitimacy of Members

While ReadMyVoice will make reasonable efforts to screen agents, publishers, authors, and reviewers, we cannot guarantee the legitimacy or authenticity of every member. Members should exercise their discretion and conduct their own research when interacting with other users.

11. Interaction Between Authors and Reviewers

Interactions between authors and reviewers are limited to the structured review system provided by ReadMyVoice. We are not responsible for or involved in any interactions that take place outside of this platform. Any communication outside the platform is solely between the author and reviewer.

12. No Disclosure of Agent or Publisher Names

ReadMyVoice is not responsible for disclosing the names or identities of any agents or publishers registered on our platform. Any contact between agents, publishers, and authors is strictly between the two parties involved.

13. No Guarantee of Contact or Contracts

While ReadMyVoice offers a platform for connection, we do not guarantee that you will be contacted by agents or publishers, nor do we guarantee any subsequent contracts or deals as a result of using our platform.

14. No Guarantee of Reviews

ReadMyVoice does not guarantee that every book submitted will receive a review. We strive to provide feedback where possible, but reviews are not guaranteed.

15. No Guarantee of Authenticity or Originality

ReadMyVoice does not guarantee that materials submitted by authors are free from AI generation or plagiarism. We encourage originality and adherence to copyright laws. Any author suspected of submitting plagiarized or non-original work will be removed from the platform.

16. Prize Draw Eligibility

Only reviewers who participate in the review process are eligible for any prize draw tokens. These tokens can be used in the prize draw system and are not transferable for cash or other goods or services. The prize draws will only be available to reviewers residing in the UK, USA. Reviewers in other countries are welcome to participate in the review system but will not be eligible for prize draws until a prize draw system is implemented for their country. Reviewers in all participating or subsequent participating countries outside will not receive backdated prize draw tokens.

17. Book Token Limitations

Any book tokens provided by ReadMyVoice are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other products or services. Additionally, ReadMyVoice is not responsible for replacing any book tokens that have expired. Any issues with Book Tokens are to be resolved with the Book Token Company directly.

18. Right to Promote Books of Authors with Publishing Deals

If any author using the ReadMyVoice platform secures a publishing deal, ReadMyVoice reserves the right to promote their book(s) on our website and via other RMV promotional channels, including social media, press releases, and newsletters.

19. Third-Party Advertising

ReadMyVoice is not responsible for any third-party advertising, nor do we endorse or control any external ads displayed on our platform. All third-party advertisements are not associated with ReadMyVoice in any way.

20. Data Protection and Privacy
